Ladies Afternoon League

These are the Guilsfield Ladies who attended the annual presentation luncheon held at Maesmawr Hall Hotel on 23rd September 2023
​
The Montgomeryshire Ladies Afternoon League is played on Wednesday afternoons.
We entered one team in the league this year. Rain affected one game which was played at the end of the season. We played 11 games overall - won 5 and lost 6. As there are now enough ladies keen to play, we are considering entering two teams next year

Rain stopped play in the opening game of the season v. Dyfi @ Machynlleth but the Ladies chalked up a victory against Bettws @ Sarn on May 17th. The score was 20-10.

Wed May 24th saw a loss against Berriew. Score: 11-20.

Wed May 31st: A good result - a win against Churchstoke 19-14. Well done all.

Wed June 7th: A win against Hafren. 16-12

Wed June 14th: Another win against Wynstay. A brilliant score of 27-8.

Wed June 21st: A loss against Welshpool 18-9.

Wed June 28th: A loss against Llansantffraid A (in apalling weather!) but we're still in the top half of the league.

Wed July 5th: A loss against Carno 19-9.

Wed July 12th: A loss against Machynlleth (20-8) has caused a bit of a slippage in the league table.

Wed July 19th gave us victory over Sarn 15-11. Well done Ladies.
