MBA Veterans League 2026

The Montgomeryshire Bowling Association (MBA) Veteran's League is played on Tuesday afternoons and is open to men aged over 60. Matches start at 14:00 and run from 28th April until 25th August, with quarter / semi-finals played on 1st September 2026 and the Vets Final and Dave Thorpe Trophy played on 8th September 2026.

​Matches are played by club teams of triples. Our club is entering two teams under the names Guilsfield and Cegidfa. For 2026, the MBA Vets League is being played across four Sections:

Veterans league match fee is £2.00 per person (including £1.00 for tea and biscuits after all league matches).

Open Day
​​
The Vets Open Day is on 5th May 2026 at Newtown. Each club is asked to field a rink (more will be welcome). The aim of the open day is for the section committee to discuss representing the Country in the Senior Championship games.
