Dates are in the calendar - matches are scheduled to be played on the Saturday; a backup date, typically the Sunday following, is reserved against the chance of inclement weather. Match start times and durations shown in the calendar will be adjusted once we know the numbers of entrants.

Mixed Singles - 25th July 2026
This is an all-day, 4-wood singles competition beginning promptly at 10.30 am. If the weather is inclement on Saturday, the competition may be delayed to the following Sunday.
The morning session will be played on a "pool basis". This year we have 16 entrants so 4 pools of 4 players with everyone playing 3 games of 5 ends. If the scores are tied after five ends, a sixth end will be played to achieve a result. Thus, each will play 15 -18 ends during the morning.
Scoring will be straight in, with 1 point for a win - there will be no drawn games. The top two in each pool will advance to the afternoon session. Position within the pool will be determined by points scored and shot aggregate as usual. In the event of a tie in any pool, an extra end will be played between the players concerned.

The afternoon session will be on a knockout basis. Matches are played over 12 ends, scoring 1 on the first two ends.
Tea & coffee will be available during the lunch break. Do bring your own lunch and make a day
of it even if you don't make it through the morning round into the afternoon.
