MBA Veterans League 2025

The Montgomeryshire Bowling Association (MBA) Veteran's League is played on Tuesday afternoons and is open to men aged over 60. Matches start at 14:00 and run from 29th April until 26th August, with quarter / semi-finals played on 9th September 2024 and the Vets Final and Dave Thorpe Trophy played on 16th September 2025.

​Matches are played by club teams of triples. Our club is entering two teams under the names Guilsfield and Cegidfa. For 2025, the MBA Vets League is being played across four Sections:

Veterans league match fee is £2.00 per person (including £1.00 for tea and biscuits after all league matches).

President's Day

The 2025 President's Day is to be played at Welshpool on 29th April 2025.

Open Day
​​
The 2025 Open Day is to be played at Newtown on 13th May 2025. Each club is asked to field a rink (more will be welcome). The aim of the open day is for the section committee to discuss representing the Country in the Senior Championship games.
